My passion for gardening and the outdoors began in my childhood. Working alongside my Grandmother as she tended to her flowers and vegetables sparked a fascination with gardening which propelled me into the world of Landscaping.
I have studied Horticulture and Commercial Floriculture at Olds College. Following two amazing years at Olds, I attended Nova Scotia Agricultural College where I majored in Landscape Design and Construction. I have been designing and building Landscapes for 30 years and enjoy each project, large and small.
I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of design as well as the challenges that are often present in a yard. Working with the Client in mind, I seek to achieve all their goals while making the best use of space. When functionality and artistry are combined, amazing results unfold.
Deciding between various colors and products can seem overwhelming at times. I can also help to simplify the process of selecting colors and patterns based on my experience.
I believe that homeowners seeking a Landscape renovation want to know their investment will pay off in enjoyment as well as building equity in their home. If you are looking to sell your home in the near future, I can recommend design and detail elements which will give you the best value for your budget.
If you are planning on staying in your home indefinitely, the Design details will be more specific to how you want to utilize your outdoor space. Developing a plan which will deliver the dreams you have for your yard will involve discussions and exchanges of photos so that I can have an in depth concept of your personal style.
Whether your style is modern, industrial, natural, cottage style, formal or informal, I will ensure that a theme which suits your tastes is incorporated into the plantings and hardscape designs.
I look forward to working with you and helping you create your dream space.
